Chief Executive Officer
Curtis, former CEO of Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute, brings over 30 years of hands-on experience leading and consulting for orthopedic and surgical groups, medical practices, and diverse healthcare organizations. His expertise spans national client service, specializing in physician-centric strategies for medical groups, surgery centers, and hospitals.
Starting with payer-side experience at Prudential and over three decades of leading and managing medical groups, Curtis is a results-driven executive dedicated to excellence, collaborating on physician strategies, surgeon efficiency, and optimizing healthcare operations for sustainable success nationwide.
Jovanna Grissom
ASC Development Optimization
MHA, BSN, CIC, CNOR, CASC, CPHQ
Jovanna has 38 years of healthcare industry experience, the last 26 concentrated in the Ambulatory Surgery Center space. Her career started as an operating room nurse and infection preventionist and progressed through leadership roles to Vice President of Operations for multiple ASC management companies, including Meridian Surgical Partners, Pinnacle III and Surgical Care Affiliates. As a VP of Operations she focused on overall business functions, with an emphasis on finance, partner syndication and development.
In 2024 Jovanna started her own consulting practice focused on ASC operations. Her engagements include de novo projects from the ground up, interim operational management, sterile processing department assessments, infection prevention and quality program development, and survey readiness assessments. She is active with the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (CASCA), where she helped build an Infection Prevention and Control Program for its members, and she teaches infection prevention and control for CASCA and other state associations.
John McDermott
Healthcare Technology & Contracts
John is a senior healthcare strategy and transformation executive with extensive experience working collaboratively with health systems, hospitals, physician practices, and healthcare stakeholders. As an interim CIO and transformation leader, he partners with executive teams to address complex technology, operational, financial, and organizational challenges, working closely with leaders to understand their priorities, assess current capabilities, identify opportunities, and develop practical strategies that can be successfully implemented.
His experience includes technology modernization, digital transformation, AI and emerging technologies, payer strategy, value-based care, and revenue cycle optimization. John takes a pragmatic approach focused on business value, operational impact, scalability, security, and organizational readiness. He brings diverse stakeholders together around shared priorities and translates complex challenges into clear, actionable outcomes.
